You can't keep them submerged for to long if you dye them like that Tracy  ;D
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I use koolaid dye on feathers all the time.  The cheap packs for $0.20 are what I use.  No sugar.  Just mix it with water and soak over night.  Alternate the feathers so they don't stick together and prevent the dye from getting to them.  You have to keep them submeged to.







they look fabulous!  certainly something to shoot for  ::)

Tracy's beet juice post reminds me that I have 1/4 jar of pickeled beet juice was saving to try as dye on back of a bow.  Hmmmm, maybe some feathers too . . . .. .
