Great piece of craftsmanship, Chris.  Simply great!

Well if thge number of bows you build, is anywhere close to the number of deer you kill, I need to rob your freezer. Nice bow....and I won't tel ANYONE....

Thanks guys. I appreciate it! I make so dang many bows, hard to say if it gets hunted in 6 months? Id like to think so.

The rawhide is el' natural. I didn't do anything but lighty sand the inside prior to glue up. Then steel wool'ed the crap out of the outside to get it baby butt smooth. The blotchy pattern is just the way it is. The bow is much darker in person, the direct sunlight really made it look yellow. It 20 year old wood.

I added the rawhide because I found a minute tear/splinter and decided to head it off. I was already torn about adding rawhide prior because Nel's did on most of his. The issue that arose called my hand, so the rawhide was added and Id like to think made a solid bow. Its been shot a lot already.

Nice job, Pearl. Sweet looking bow for sure. I'm just curious, with all the attention we pay to keeping our tips lighter, how do those tips affect the hand shock?
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
