I feal like you saved the best for last out of you recent posts.  Love the way yew looks on the belly.  That handle turned out great.  I have a bunch of chair caine I gotat a yard sale, been contemplating on what bow to put it on.  Great inspiration

Snag, glad you were able to get out with it and do some quality stumpin already.  Sounds like it is shooting well for you and that you are happy with it. That is all I could ask for!   :)
I think the cork under the cane might be why it is so dead in the hand on release.

Thanks Falcon, and yes, that is sapwood on top of the horn on the tips. I just cut the tip off at a n angle, and saved the cut-off piece to go on top of the horn.
