Sure is fun to see all the talent at the Classic!  If the party to celebrate the Osage Mobile Inn doesn't cause too much damage you could probably sell it at the end of the Classic for a profit.  Then you could build Osage number two!  Like bow making one is just the start! And some of us height challenged fellows would have a place to sleep when we are in the dog house!  Joe

Appears to be mighty strong roof.  No deflex in that sucker. Should support a/c unit, tv dish, & weather station ... no problem!

I like that Matt!  It would be cool if someone wanted to paint some stuff like that on it. 

We got the bottom door hung after some minor adjustments.  The top door is on the to-do list for tomorrow.  We framed in the top section except for the windows. 








Were were trying to figure out what to do about windows.  My Dad suggested that we go to a truck camper plant a few miles down the road and see if they had any used windows.  We ended up getting a pair of 15" x 30" crank out windows with screens for $25.  One has a slight damaged spot on the bottom of the frame but its nothing we can't fix.  The other one is just dusty.  They even threw in a long piece of screen material.  Tomorrow we are going to frame around them and then put the sheeting on the top half.  I'm hoping to get it ready for paint by the end of the day.

Yes it is.  I can't wait to see what it looks like done and painted.  There sure is a lot of redneck engineering involved in this thing.  I was thinking it was a 2 day project  ::)   I have really enjoyed working on it with my Dad.  Its been nice spending so much time with him just working and talking.  Seems like the older I get the more I want to spend time with him.

Caveman, I have carpet to put down on the floor.  I'm not going to put anything on the inside walls.

I got access to a vinyl cutter but i dont think it will stick to the rough surface...if it would we could hook you up with some graphics..maybe some racing stripes, lol.... Brian

just an idea for you, you may want to put some vapor barrier in between those floor planks and your carpet. wouldn't take long for that carpet to suck up moisture and get real moldy on you.
