Working an ABO Dalton
« on: May 07, 2015, 09:24:54 am »
As I started my ABO journey I experienced many failures along the way. Those impossible bifaces with too many steps and  hinges I just set aside hoping I would know how to fix them later. Now three or so years later I picked up this stone and worked it to the stage you see in the picture. The stone is very high quality burlington and knaps almost too well after all the steps were removed. over shots were my problem this time. Funny how I remember my frustration in destroying a good stone.
Anyway below is a drawing of the stone and then I flipped and have redrawn the other side. This will help me determine where to take off the least amount of material and make it close to equal on both sides

Poor thing tripped over one of the many arrows Farmer John planted in the dirt and broke his neck.
