sneak peak for Patrick

I'm in the middle of a trade with Lebhuntfish.  I made him some arrows in exchange for some of that pretty yellow wood you have back east.  I tried to keep them as primitive as possible.  Shoots from my apple tree, Goose feathers shot on Utah Lake 10 minutes from my house, trade points made from old saw blades of a contractor friend. Pitch glue from a pine tree at my church. Sinew wraps and beeswax finish from an earlier trade.

Hope he likes them.

I used water color paints.  I figured short of grinding my own, that would be the most like traditional pigments.  Downside is you shouldn't get them wet.  The beeswax should seal out incidental moisture, but they probably wouldn't stand up to a rainstorm.

Nice, nice work. I use to make arrows quite a bit and seeing all these great arrows makes me want to jump back in.

No sorry buddy, I haven't had time to do much of anything. I have taken time to shoot them a few times. They really shoot awesome. And I shoot them really good to.
Hopefully next weekend I will get the obsidian heads attached. I will try to get some pictures of the arrows. They are beautiful! Thanks a ton Jeff! Patrick
