Hello from Berkshire u.k.
« on: November 15, 2015, 06:12:23 am »
Hello all at Primitive Archer,

I'm a little late introducing myself as I just spotted this section, my apologies for that.
I am more on the archery side of things than crafting and joined in the attempt to fix some problems with my bows that I have, with some success I'm happy to say. My persuit is the English warbow mainly, but I have an interest in all bow styles. I'm finding the making side of things scaringly addictive although I have only made a couple of laminates at present(and countless strings and arrows). I am eager to start a self bow of sorts whatever suits the first workable stave I can get hold of. :)
So I'm pretty much a greenhorn novice and finding a wealth of help and information here, for which I am greatful. 8)

Kind regards,

Welcome to PA. Ask questions, take pics of problems and successes and jump right in with both feet. We have quite a few members from the UK so one or more may be near you and could help first hand.

Welcome. Glad to see you here. And, you are right, making stuff can be addictive.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
