Made a bow rack
« on: December 31, 2015, 06:42:23 pm »
Finally got around to putting up my bow rack I made. It's made from vintage Bear arrows and Osage. Hung a couple turkey feathers I painted to add a lil to it. Now I need to make arrow rack for my trade arrows in the quiver. All but three are from trades on here. Hope you guys like it. I think I put this in the wrong spot!

Did the Native Americans think about all this that much or just do it?

Very nice thought out bow display rack there.Feathers look great too.Never did that yet.Looks time consuming. All free hand I suppose.Acrylic paint?Oh...... I'll take the top bow there.
Liked to see how you display your arrows.I'm just using large 2' cardboard tubes yet with a wooden plug at the bottom.Got more arrows than carter has liver pills but do have a couple dozen favorites.

Nice Job Scottski.
I've been thinking about making a bow rack myself, for the same reasons you all listed.  Now I have a model to go by, thanks!

The Wife and I just had "discussion" about locating just such a rack in living room. Am pretty sure she wasn't convinced!
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857
