Cold and snowy weekends are great for getting some bow work done.  I got the back up bow to floor tiller and got the knot plug out of it.  The hole angles through the limb and gets close to the edge on the belly side.  I followed the grain around the knot on the back when I roughed it out.  I couldn't see how it came out on the belly.  I'm a little worried about it holding up.

It has another knot in the handle/fade.  I'll make that the side of the arrow pass.

I reflexed it on my caul and did a very light heat treat on the belly.  I also did a gentle tip flip on the leaded bow.

I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Looks like ya got it goin on!

I got both bows reflexed, tips flipped, and overlays glued on.  I'm really enjoying the build so far.  I've never done a side by side project like this.  I'll see which bow turns out the best and mail that one to my trade victim.

Now, just pray it stays together......I can feel already I'm going to be a few pounds under my target weight, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers.

Looks like your well on the way to shaping that into a beauty Chris. Handles sweet and that grain feathering looks mighty nice as well.
