Rich, they are looking sweet.  The top one looks like it is going to be a pretty stout bow. You are very ambitious.

Everybody seems to be coming along great!  I'm going to need to make another adjustment at the handle now that I've thinned the tips.  I got the top nock almost completed.  I filed and sanded down the stubs on the back. And....I got my rawhide.  I will hopefully be sending everyone's rawhide out monday.  This bow is going to have a ltitle bit of love from a lot of the fellow traders  ;).

Can't wait to see how plan b comes out!  After the steam correction tonight I'm gonna work on my plan b a little.

Just cause I wanna keep working on a bow while plan a is recovering from her handle tweak.  And because I haven't watched an entire football game yet this year and would rather work on a bow!

I coated the back of the bow pretty liberally with elmers after I first cut it....what's the best way to get it off?  I will be putting a sizing coat underneath the rawhide but wanted to start fresh since the handle steaming is removing a little of the glue in patches.

Wish i was doin as good as everyone else on here. Had to walk away today, just cant get top limb to catch up. Still got plan 2 and C to play with😄 great job guys.👍🏹

If it was me, I would "feather-edge" any dry spots, then go over the whole back with a medium grit paper (by hand w/ little pressure). That gives the "primer" some "tooth" to give even and excellent adhesion.

ok here is part of plan B its rough and crud also its only handle and 1 limb.

I dropped 6 rings from back of handle to limb then back up 6 rings for natural tip overlays still needs cleaned up alot

it should be center shot with the s type handle

Im looking at next saturday before i have this thing ready for long string 

Also plan A is ready for tiller but im waiting on plan B so i can do all my tillering at one time
