Hi, new from Michigan
« on: February 23, 2016, 08:37:30 am »
Hello everyone. I just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. I am 41 and from Michigan. I love hunting and fishing and anything involving the outdoors. I started making bows when I was a kid n have carried the want into adult hood. My goals are to make some nice hunting selfbows. I have built 2 sapling bows so far and I am almost done with a third. Each one has been a great learning experience and Im hoping to keep growing in my quest for that sweet hunting selfbow. I have learned a ton here the last few yrs lurking around and figured it was time to join. See you in the forums.

Welcome fellow Michigander.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

My father-in-law lives right near Lapeer, and he's getting into bow building as well.

I've got a good place to meet when it gets summer. I don't have much for targets just one block but could set up a nice range here.
