Hi Pat,

Got room for the Casita and me?  I was thinking you would be having this during the gdaughter's bday weekend but WOW decided tonight to check this out and was suprised to find it on the 29th!  I have a hickory bow I would love to tiller and would like to try to put together a cane arrow or two doing that Cherokee two fletch style.  Can an old dog learn new tricks?

May the road rise to meet ya,
Rand

Let's figure out a headcount for this thing. I'm planning on doing a low country boil Saturday night, maybe we can split up some of the ingredients between us. I'm headed down to Mechslasher's this weekend, so we'll conspire some on it. I'll also bring my big Blackstone griddle for breakfast and such.

Steve, I was going to get in touch with you about food. I have a Boston Butt in the freezer I can get out and cook here in the oven, also if needed. If not just let me know what I can contribute.
It won't be long now! Time for me to start cleaning up the area, mow the grass and put up the tarps.

Found a yellow jacket nest this morning under the table in the "kitchen" area. I'll take care of it and be looking for more. Haven't seen a copperhead this year..so far!
Rand said he's bringing potato salad and coleslaw.

Use the window of your truck or car. The rounded edge on tje top of it is rough enoung to hone an edge on a blade just like a wet stone. Works great.

Hi,

Yep, I watched that one on UTub and like it.  Good advice.  But, I guess what I am after is something small I can tote around in the woods in my pack.  Pat, looked your system up on Amazon...looks good.  Up for some leather working advice too?

Ha!,

Looking forward to the Camporama,

Rand

I got the grass mowed today, ordering the port-a-jon tomorrow. Only a few days to go.
Sleek, that's a great idea. I'll have to give it a try.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday daily temps look like mid 80s to mid 60s with 30% chance of afternoon showers...which we need and will cool the temps considerably...so throw a flannel shirt or sweatshirt in with your other cloths just in case.
