Clean piece of osage for a new recruit
« on: May 04, 2016, 12:43:49 am »
My neighbor down the street has been supplying me with the by-products of his hunts for over a year now--Canada goose wings, deer legs--today he brought me a turkey wing (lost the other one in the woods, he said).  He finally admitted he would be interested in learning how to make a bow.

So I am looking for a good clean osage stave that a beginner could make a nice 50# bow from.  By the looks of him he probably draws around 29-30 inches, if I had to guess.

If you have a nice piece of wood like that, Send me a PM and we can discuss what you would like in trade.
