Another classic point
« on: May 03, 2016, 07:20:58 am »
This was made from KY blue. The two abo points I made at the classic were mostly made using a hammer stone, large moose antler and ishi stick. I forgot to pack my medium moose size antler. I did also use a small white antler

That one turned out beautifully.  Very good to see you and Isaac.  He's a good kid, for sure.

I heard from him you were a good role model to him. And thank you on the point!

yep 2 years of burlington's finest layer of white candy sound like a dream come true until that's the only thing your allowed. Annette and I went creek stomping last night and picked up a handful of nice mineral stained chert and I am really looking forward to hitting that stuff. Also we sorted through looking for nice hammer stones but all turned out to be crap.

Any scrap of that KY blue you are willing to leave me would be welcome.  I want to cobble together a gunflint or two from it since it works so good for starting fires with my flint striker.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
