Thanks for the bow trades this year!
« on: July 26, 2016, 12:01:58 pm »
I just want to say thanks to everyone who participated in the three different bow trades this year. Fred has done an awesome job wrangling his trade considering there are many first timers. The invitational trade has really turned out some lookers. Our trade was started with the idea of building established friendships and has accomplished our end in mind. Again, thanks to all participants.

Ill second that Mr. Wampler. I knew it was going to be good, and so far its right on track.

Thank you Jon and everyone who got involved. A special thanks goes out to those who weren't part of the trades and still participated by giving advice and encouragement especially to the new people here.

I'm thrilled with the amount of attention that has been received and am looking forward to seeing the remainder of the bows being built.
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

I agree, it's been very cool to see all these bows getting built, finished and in the hands of their new owners.

My only complaint is that I couldn't keep up with all the cool sticks being worked.

Wahhhh  :'(

With the three different trades going on I think it has resulted in seeing more bows at different levels of skill built then ever before. And Mr. Arnold you have done a fantastic job of heading up your Trade, thank you.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I have to concur.  The trades have been great and yes, Fred did a fantastic job.  That trade was a joy to participate in.  It was like a bunch of building alongs on steroids.  It was a lot of fun.

I have to say thanks to all involved in each of the three bow trades. Fred and Onebowonder, thank you both especially for continuing the tradition of a all inclusive bow trade here on PA. Lots of great bows were produced and distributed. Lots of knowledge was given and received. Well done everyone!  8)

I just did some math and between the 3 bow trades there are 390 pages of posts so far.  That is a lot of activity :) :)
