A RUN OF BAD LUCK
« on: August 11, 2016, 05:54:31 am »
First ER trip 1 1/2 weeks ago was for kidney stones. Now spent from 7pm - 3:30 at the ER again this time I was working on a garage I'm building went to get on ladder from roof, ladder fell and so did I. About 10 feet and landed on my back on the ladder Broke my L4 vertibra and bruised my right side of my body up pretty darn good. Very sore but the docs said 3-6 weeks a off work I should be back on my feet able to do a few things. So I will have plenty of time to surf the PA.

Sorry to hear that.  Hopefully you got all the bad luck out of the way and the rest of the way will be smooth sailing for you.  Best of luck.  ;)

Sorry to hear about your bad luck streak but a bit of good luck that doc. says you'll heal up, could have been worse. Hopefully you won't be to crippled up to enjoy some of that time off. Here's to a bunch of good luck

That's tough. Being forced to rest up is worse than hard work, maybe catch up some reading.
I got a second hand kindle off E-bay, there is some good free reading on there.
Currently reading about Sgt William Lawrence in the Peninsular wars (Portugal, Spain) round about 1810.
All the best

You need to take it easy so you can heal up in time for deer season.

Thanks guys. I'm taking it as easy as I can. I hate indoors. At least the Olympics is on. I've enjoyed watching the  lady from Korea, she can flat out shoot a recurve. (With sights)

Enjoy the hunt!  Mitch
