Peach Pit carving
« on: August 14, 2016, 08:58:19 pm »
I ran across this monkey I carved a few years ago thought I would share it. If anybody else have carved anything from peach pits let's see it.

I have heard of this before, looks good.
Seems peach seed is very hard.

There was a old gentleman who lived next to my grandparent's farm when I was a kid. He used to whittle and carve all sorts of stuff for us kids. Somewhere I have a few peach pit carvings he did. If I can find them, I'll post a picture. I always wondered how you can do that because like neuse says they are really hard!
