congratulations :)

"down payment" <-- hah hah

my second daughter spent almost a week in there, then she was sent home with an apnea/heart monitor.

think two 6ft wires connected to a 15 lb battery, connected to a baby, 24/7, for 6 months.

^^ blah... i'd do it all again though ;)

Congrats to you and your wife JoJo, she's an adorable little girl. Yes that bill must hurt, has to be frustrating to have that to deal with at a time of such happiness. Hopefully you can get that issue resolved and behind you, I sure you know she's worth the aggravation and expense though.  :)

Congratulations!  I'll repeat of what was said above, they are worth every penny. And they grow up fast.

Beautiful girl Jo, I really hope you can dispute that bill!
If that happened up in Canada, you'd only be complaining about the 30$ parking pass.

Congratulations!!! You are no longer in control of your own decisions any more. It worked out for me, I used to make some awful ones before my girls came to the rescue.  I remember that feeling like it was yesterday. My girls are 11 and 9 now. Enjoy it while you can she'll start taking soon and never ever ever stop. On a serious note, remember babies are extremely portable, more so than toddlers I would say. We traveled for two years straight after our first and I'm glad we did. I can barely get away for a weekend now.

If I were you I would contest that bill with hospital administration. I know the joy of a healthy child makes it seem like a moot point, but that's a lot of ching especially if it was unnecessary or worse an out right mistake. The medical system is just one more thing money and greed has basically rendered ineffective and ridiculous.

Congrats again she's a cutie. Must have come from Mom.

Thanks, she does look a lot like her mother.

The bill is the first of quite a few. I am not worried about it. It will be taken care of. Money comes and goes.
