Out of state success
« on: November 16, 2016, 12:42:27 pm »
I have a friend in the state of indiana who has a few of us over to hunt  4 days every year at the end of bow season and beginning of firearms season. I was fortunate to get this deer the first morning with my bow. I saw a whopper of a buck earlier but it didnt offer me a shot. This one walked by at 3 in the afternoon. Third deer with a bow this year and thankfully a great shot. He went 40 yrds and that was it. 50# osage with cedar arrows and zwicky head.

You have had a FINE season Robert-O. Great job on the Indy buck!

Congratulations.  3 deer in one season is quite an accomplishment.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

It has been a great season for sure. The freezer is full, and I may even pass some meat along to my kids for them to enjoy. Thanks.

An osage bow resting on a downed buck laying on fall leaves, picture perfect.  Nicely done.
