Started learning this technique couple of months ago.
Had a couple of try, sore palms and blisters and a week off. Repeatn times...
So yesterday i started at home more for training floating technique than for a real try.
Suddendly It happened  !! I couldnt believe !!!
Less than 2 minutes later my wife was back home and did not shared my enthusiasm because of that little smoke in the lounge and that lovely smell of burnt.

Glis I will make fire by snaping my fingers before having
the knowledge to respond to your question.
That said Good on you and the quest for fire.

Maybe you could have been getting ready to broil a steak?😀  If not, I suggest a dozen roses and dinner at her favorite restaurant, a box of chocolate might help, too.  Women fall into the category of great mysteries of the universe, mere mortal men aren't going to figure them out.😄👹. Sorry about the blisters, there may be hope for me learning how to use flint and steel!
