2017 Trail Camera Pictures
« on: February 14, 2017, 10:37:25 pm »
I thought I would start a new trail camera thread for everyone to post their pictures.

I pulled my camera today and I had more coyote pictures than deer pictures.  I need to figure out how to trap them before the fawns start dropping.

The bobcat showed up again.  I haven't seen it in a while

Turkey hunting should be good this year.

A new buck showed up.  I hope he drops those nice antlers before he leaves.

I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Great pics as usual Clint - I have always liked those Big 8pt'ers. Good luck looking for the sheds ! Bob

I know a guy that catches a lot of coyotes.  He prefers to snare them. He sets his snares in fences where they are crossing through.

Yup, he's a nice one. But my brain is in turkey hunt mode now. Counting down to spring season. Looks like you have some nice Toms in the neighborhood.

Clint I can show you how to trap them and have some traps you could use. Just let me know.

Sounds good Joe.  Maybe we could plan a day of setting traps and working on bows?

A friend at the gym was telling me how great rice bran was for drawing in deer, he gave me about 10# to try.

I have 4 acres of woods below my house with a food plot, I haven't seen any deer in a while because the food plot never amounted to anything because of a 3 month drought we had in the summer, it is bare ground now.

I have plenty of deer around but with the acorns gone and very little brouse surviving the drought they haven't been in my backyard in a while. I don't hunt the deer around my house, I know them too well, I prefer to shoot anonymous deer.

I put out a few piles of the rice bran along with my camera to see if anything showed up, deer were on the stuff right away.

I have two tripods in my woods, my neighbor made a bad shot on one, the one in the picture is a new one, don't know what happened to her.  Both of the tripods are healthy and have fawns every year.

I didn't set the date and time on my camera so it is off.

I don't mind at all Bill.  Maybe it will be a little warmer and we can do some shooting also.
