I've been caught up with applying to graduate schools, and will be for a few more weeks, so I haven't got much done in a while. Come the end of august  then september I should be able to get it tillered. With finishing, arrows, and everything I'll probably need the whole time before i ship.

I don't have full draw pics for you just yet. Almost though. Here are the two I'm finishing. Purple leaf plum and I had a skinny piece of Osage  so I put bamboo on it. Will post FD pictures very soon. I'm down to final adjustments on the tiller for both. You can tell the tiller is off on the Osage from the braced pic.

Stuck, could be the angle you're holding the bow, but the bottom limb looks a tad weaker than the top?

Despite the finger injury I was able to just about finish up the tiller on my vic's osage 5 curve. The curves are not dramatic by any means, but they'll hold. It's backed with goat rawhide. I've shot it about 20 times. Still might take a little set as it get's shot in, but not very much I think. Here's some pics...

The next month should be really exciting, really looking forward to seeing the bows everyone's working on!

Thanks upstate, I'll hit the centre of that limb with some heat, see if it tightens it up a little bit. Think I'll build up a cork handle, never done one before

Hey guys, looking good! So here's what I have to offer. Friend gave me an Osage stave, with a ring chased. So I made a stiff handled self bow. Gave it a paint job, and called it done. It's just a pound under weight, hopefully that's ok. I hope my guy likes it. It shoots great!

My sinewed job is about cured and ready to string up soon. Had to be a little more patient with the curing at this time of year.
