I wove my first quiver over the weekend, the next one slimmer and a bit longer. Yote face and tail set it off

Wow, very nice.  The weaving looks well done and the fur adds a nice touch.

Nice work.I've gotten and made one once with I think ash strips from a companys' catalog of the Basket Makers catalog. Not sure if I should mention them on here.Nice touch on yours though with the coyote hide inside.Arrows don't rattle making noise at all then.

That looks great.  What did you use for the strap?

Nice basket quiver Roger. Try some local plant materials for your weavers, honeysuckle, etc. They also make nice accents on a typical basket quiver.
Hope to see you soon at the Classic.

Yes splitting dogwood saplings not suitable to make good enough arrow shafts to make these type quivers works great too.Leaving the bark on.Giveing it a natural look.

Thanx, I'm cutting back my grapevines now and if you notice its leaning on some cane that might take part in the near future

The very bottom of those type quivers I've used wide wettened rawhide to fill the gaps laced in before too.
