Take Down Bow Joiner
« on: June 15, 2017, 03:16:25 pm »
This is for a miniature ELB style bow. I had this one printed in plastic to ensure the size is correct it is a hair under 3/8" deep, 15/32" wide, and about 1 3/8" long so scale 1.125 x 1.375 x 4.125. Now that I know the size is correct I will have them cast in bronze. It is two parts both have openings for the limbs to be inlet into them, the smaller one that fits inside the larger one has a lip at the end that matches the larger one so when together it looks like one part almost. So I have the bronze bow nocks cast am doing the bronze joiner and then the bronze target points and nocks for the arrows

Essentially the shape of the joiner is the shape of the bow at the handle flat back slightly rounded with a round belly
