Will you seem to like to exaggerate when you describe tillering with a long string.....nobody advocates torturing wood with one!

I didn't say anybody did.

It was just a clear way of describing what my thought process is. 


You've also missed the actual context I used the word "torturing" in, but that's ok ;)

Thanks a lot one and all, I got a lot from this post which has further underlined the importance of a few things for me when I start my ash and yew staves...(just gonna give them a little while longer dry time.)   8)
