Thanks for all the thoughts guys, I'll keep them all in mind on my current bow. This one was just used for a reference to show you what I was talking about. (The backing failed on this bow and snapped it... And no, it wasn't the hingy limb)

Good point you brought up.  I totally agree.  I have built quite a few bows and I just accept the fact that the left limb on the tiller always bends more.  No explanation. But is consistent.

That is why I generally tiller with my upper limb on the right.
