I killed this one last week. 116 lb. 3 point. As yall know I am no trophy hunter and this boy made the mistake of getting to close. 8 yard shot, Osage bow PO cedar and 200 Ace. Ran about 60/70 yards. :)

Good going Pappy.No shame.Congrats.Getting a deer with a selfbow is an accomplishment.Looks like a nice pass through shot was made.I think you feed a heck of a lot more people out there than most people.I'm still putting the hours in here.I'll get one.Weather is holding up.I'm about through letting them pass here too.
Your weight numbers there...Are you talking dressed weight after boning and all or actual on the hoof weight?

Field dressed Ed. Probably 135/140 on the hoof. That is about what most 1 1/2 year old bucks weigh around here . Pappy

Yea Brad...he's drug another one to the house.....lol.
Pap you can take your field dressed weight times 1.26 to get the weight on the hoof so that would be.....about a 175 pound deer.

Thanks Ed I usually just add 25% to guess hoof weight, ya Brad I have been ask that many times over the years. :) ;) Or can you hunt with that thing. ;)
