Swamp Child
« on: December 13, 2017, 01:15:32 pm »
I haven't posted a bow in a while and actually finished two for this years hunting at Twin Oaks that I didn't get to make because of surgery.

This bow is osage stained with walnut hulls and is 64" T to T. It pulls 53#@29" and is a real treat to shoot. I heated very little reflex into the bow and nothing pulled out after shooting it numerous times and still goes back to it's original shape after sitting.

It has cow horns for tip overlays with the bottom one double notched for easier stringing with a stringer. The wrap is hemp and then dolled up with a big, pretty Cotton Mouth
moccasin skin.

Nice Eddie, love the skins. Sorry you didn't get to fling some arrows at some TN. whitetails , maybe next year. Looks like that would have done the trick. ;)

Thanks, stick.

You too, Pat. I'll bring it with me after Christmas.

Thank you, Mr upstate. :)

Pappy, I'll have it next year, maybe, you know me if someone wants to trade a flintlock. ::)

Thank you, Joe.
