I took container filled with ground coffee to The Gathering. And small perc coffee pot. So we could have bit of the black gold each morning.
Jon dumped entire container in pot on 1st morning. Strongest cup a coffee in my life!

Mike,  strong coffee perks you up in the morning! My wife uses foldgers black silk. She puts 4 rounded scoops in then sets the coffee pot to strong brew.  One dip will make your eyes bug out and your hair start growing!
Great picture by the way, PA on the computer screen in the background.

Will do Ed, I'll probably end up taking it to the place I told you about, especially after you said that you didn't know if it was something you would want to tackle.

Yes Pat I'll gaurantee that hide will need degreaser and hide relaxant products[not cheap] to get a nice soft tan from that even before an aluminum sulfate/pickling salt tan done to it.Some pre fleshing before tanning too.
If that place you told me about will do that hide for the price you said I'd take it there. It's a big otter that's for sure. When done you will have quite a good amount of nice otter fur hide to make things from.

I know you are right Ed.  At least after talking with you I know I won't ruine it. I'll more than likely take it to that tannery over at Pittsburgh, Missouri I told you about.  Thats the only otter I have ever had so I should probably take the safer rout.  Thanks again for the advice bud.

Chris' wife took bunch of pictures. Here's some of them.

Once again, wonderful weather!!

Ed brought along his chrony and his newest bow ... maple backed erc.

Took the opportunity to check out my newest.

Don't have pictures of Chris' shooting range. That's a shame because he and his family have invested a BUNCH of time turning a bramble/cedar jungle into a challenging fun range with wide variety of large/small targets.

Rebecca showed up to make her 1st bow. Chris and Paul were big help to make that happen.

Apparently I was a bit skeptical of what Eric was saying . . .  >:D

Redbeard (aka Dave) heating up his hackberry bow for the umpteenth time.

Lyin' time.

And, yes, there was food. Lots and lots of great tasting food.

Wonderful weekend with old/new friends. Looking forward to next year!
