Short hackberry ( more pics added)

Finished a bow I’ve been fooling with off and on for a while. I don’t have the skill that most of you have, especially with finish details, but I’m happy with it. 59” hackberry, 55# @ 26” .

Very nice looking full bow and full draw.  Did  you heat treat the belly?  How wide are the limbs?
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

  That looks great, a lot of us here are not big on finish work. Whatever pleases you is what counts there. Your bow came out very nice.

Thanks guys. I’ll post more pics tomorrow if weather permits, can’t get a god pic inside to save my life. Limbs are a 1 1/5” parallel tapering last 10” to 1/2” nocks. Heated the tar out of the belly. Stain was accidental. Mixed a pack of black rit dye with a quart of alcohol. Well that turns hackberry purple. After probably 15 applications of that mix I put some walnut danish oil on it that made it look pretty decent.
