Thanks Swamp. I still have another in the works, just didn’t want to give up on this one. I may end up keeping it, depending on everyone’s opinions, and how the other turns out.

I think it’s very nice. I’d love it.  Bamboo is cool.

That's looks mighty fine Dave. Nice tiller! That birch bark would have some great color in the sun. Mike

The tillering is finished, just need to finish shooting it in. While shooting it in the best I could, I was getting a 625gr arrow at about 150 FPS and was pulling about 2.5”short. It felt real nice shooting though. Smooth drawing and fairly soft on release. The right limb which is the top has a little wiggle making it look stiff. After taking the picture I took a little off the top limb to get the handle to flatten out more. The tips were cleaned up to about 1/2” wide, the handle is 7/8” wide by 1.5” deep, and the string lines up perfectly centered through everything.
I went ahead and put a coat of truoil on te help keep moisture off while shooting in. I got the stave of black locust from Patches  at mojam, and it’s a real pretty, dark piece of locust. It’s natural color looks like I fumes it for a day.

Here’s a near full draw in hand. It needs about 1-1.5”more pulled back. I need to up the brace a smidge, but it definitely shoots well.

I'll be posting pics of my bow here soon. Got a nice osage bow going...just enough character to make it look cool but not too much of a tiller challenge. Decided to leave it natural and not put any reflex or anything in it. Just let it be what it wants to be

Made progress on my most recent attempt. This is my 3rd or maybe 4th attempt and I decided to bypass anything that I haven’t done before and just shoot for a simple low profile bow and so far it looks like it will make it ok.
I steamed out some side bow and twist (limbs still have some twist that I couldn’t get rid of), and toasted belly @floor tiler stage.
I’ve tillered it out to 28”, took the tool marks out, shaped the handle some, and shot it a dozen times or so. The side profile is naturally a little wavy I think it’s taken a little bit of set but doesn’t follow the string right now. I’m going to give the belly one last toast and final tiller it in the next 5 days or so. This bow will not be anywhere close to the craftsmanship showed by others on this trade, but if it goes like it has till now, it will be on par with what my best is.
