That is Dave Allen with the rattlesnake quiver, probably the best blues musician I have heard in a while. Put just about any stringed instrument in his hands and be prepared to be amazed.

Went once and had a great time. Never seen so  much osage in one spot. Nice to see Matt Wirwicki hard at work cutting up some osage.  One of the better self bow makers around and very generous with sharing his knowledge.  There were two guys there with recurve handles that   did extreme carvings on the handles. Some of the most beautiful art work I had ever seen on bows.  I took several photos of the handles but they are on a different computer and can't post them right now.

This has to be a bucket list event, especially for self bow makers.  I have been going to archery shoots for 60 years and this is by far one of the best. Pappy and his gang do an outstanding job.

Mississippi Dave has entertained the crowd a few times there.    Is there any way to find his music online?  I've heard him play around a campfire.  I'd like to listen to his other stuff.

I hope Old Hippy makes it this year.  It's been a few years since I've seen him.
