I wonder if Dave did a typical beginner bo-bo of cutting his nock the wrong way and came up with an excellent save without having to pike the bow limb.

He filed the grooves the wrong direction and then made a second set of grooves below them going the right way.  His tillering string had big loops.  I twisted the loop into a figure 8 and it fit perfect in his double grooves.  It ended up looking pretty cool and got quite a few laughs in the bow shop that night.

Greg, photobucket is charging $400 to allow you to post pictures.   They made this change a while back.  A lot of us have switched over to imgur for hosting photos.
