Eric Krewson, I think I did have the brace a tad high there. I did readjust it later. This is just a temporary string. It is a tillering string that busted on the one loop side that it came with, and I ended up having to work on the bow with a bowyer's knot on each side.

Sometimes we need to pike them for any number of reasons, nice selfbow  looks like she will be a good hunting bow!
