just got some keokuk

I just got some keokuk. I'm going to rip into it this weekend. Just curious if any of you favor this type of rock, likes or dislikes, and any pictures of points made from it. I got some nice lookin spalls can't wait to chip away.

I'm new, so I have no idea.  I got me some Kay County this past weekend and I've already reduced one rock to rubble.   :(.

Actually, I'm sitting here now at my desk looking at a crude bi-face that I think I can salvage. I hope your efforts turn out well.  Post pictures when done. :)

i love keokuk, it is some of the best i have worked with.  all the white ones are keokuk

thanks, i think i got a bit better with keokuk. i really like the way it works, not too hard not too soft. i dont break many in half anymore like i did obsidian but i can still get them real thin
