It i an 8" blade so I may haft it to a very stout thrusting spear

1" to 11/2" shaft at the haft.Perhaps tapered through the mid section

Hang on to that puppy! Good for boar hunting Hawaiian style! Have your buddy backing you up with a 12 ga loaded with slugs and a .44 magnum with hollow points! I like the atlatl idea better
