Thanks Bill. Still owe a lot to you guys helping me get to this spot. Thanks

Sleek that was fun. I love the jug shoot. In all honesty though I haven't been shooting as much this year and it shows.  Fortunately this shot went right where it was supposed to.

I'm happy for you Bj. After the last few months you have had you deserve some good in life.

Bj, so glad you got that opportunity. When you are in a rut and things are going rough, blessings like that are all the more meaningful. Congrats!

Congratulations, BJ!  A successful hunt is a reward for hard times, and a lot of work!  Especially since he was getting fat on your corn! (SH) :-D

Congrats Bjrogg!
I admire primitive bowhunt as it is very difficult to sneak close enough!
Here in Austria it's forbidden to hunt with bows...and the  :-D are very, shy and always on alert. My brother have a hunting area as he is farmer as well. I tried to sneak to them just to see how close I could get....no way to reach an acceptable shooting distance.
Well done!

Thanks backtothewood. It's a real shame that laws make something that's been proven to be a very effective hunting tool for so many thousands of years illegal. I've shot two selfbow bucks and many others with shotgun. The results were nearly identical, but less meat ruined with the selfbow.

You know JW, I really would have preferred he stood up. It would have been a much easier shot if he had just casually stood and stretched his legs offering a quartering away shot. I even considered telling him that.lol. He didn't stand up the first time and I know he's  not going to stand up again. Always enjoy your replies JW.
