Thanks for the compliments guys! I really appreciate it if you take the time to comment! Of course I gave Simon the first peek when I finished it a few weeks ago ;D
And it is my favourite shooter at the moment because it is just so smooth! Have done a couple of these deflexed self bows the last few months and I must say the all are extremely good shooters.

That is a sweet looking bow and the take-down feature is awesome,once I finally get past my current health issues I might actually get a chance to start making my first bow.

The darker piece is just a strip of a little thicker leather, wrapped (and glued) to the handle. I left a little gap while wrapping and this gives the dark lines appearance. This also makes the handle feel really grippy in the hand.

Thanks again for the compliments guys... it’s funny because this is only my second osage bow but I know now why everybody loves it so much! This wood is amazing and a dream to work with as a bowyer!
