Osage Recurve with Rattlesnake Skins 60#@29"
« on: December 04, 2018, 03:31:21 pm »
This bow is heading off to Canada to hunt some moose! I got to make a set of arrows to go with it as well. the bow is 60#@29" and is 64" long. It's a pretty piece of wood with some nice dark reddish streaks in it.

Wholly that streaking is awesome, (and the bow is just as inspirational as we've come to expect) cant wait to find some osage down here in NZ

Very nice Weylin. That looks a lot like a stave I've been working on that I got from Clint. I hope the streaking  shows  up like yours when I'm finished. Looks like it's for a lefty. Hope it brings back a moose. I'm sure it's more than capable to do the Job

Those streaks add even more character to an already beautiful bow. You mention the bow heading off to Canada, are you going with it?

Hey, thanks everyone! It's always good to get your feedback.

Unfortunately, no. This is shipping to Canada to it's new owner. International moose hunts are a little above my paygrade, haha.  ;D

Well done again.  The snake skin border is really nice as are the tips and tiller.  Those red streaks mean blood!  Hope it meets a moose.
