Bandsaw Dust Stopper
« on: December 29, 2018, 06:13:14 am »
I've added this block of PVC packing foam with a slit cut into it to stop the saw dust carrying up into the top of the bandsaw and then falling back down onto the work.
It works pretty well and only makes blade changing V slightly more fiddly.
It's just stuck in place with some double sided tape.
I got some draught excluder strip for christmas (I did get other stuff too  ::) ) that I'll put round the doors too, so that I can get the air flow to the dust extractor how I want it.
I've done this as I think I'm getting sensitised to Yew dust.
Hope some of you guys find this useful
Del
