Manitoba Bear
« on: April 06, 2019, 01:32:04 pm »
I am so excited.  My trip to stickflingers is in 4 weeks!!!   Im taking my osage selfbow 58# @ 30" slinging river cane shafts and fossilized coral points.  I plan to use my Go Pro to film it all for posterity.   Im really hoping to get a shot at a large blackie.  The ones we have locally just arent all that big.

Photos will be nice to see.  Love reading the bowhunt stories on the site.

You should write an article about your hunt for PA Magazine. Take pics with highest resolution for the magazine. I wrote an article, "The Story Of Elkie" back in '06 or '07 about a bow I built and the hunt I went on in Colorado with "Littlejohn"(Kenneth). That hunt was a dream come true for me even though nobody informed the elk we were coming.  ::)
