Tiling my home right now, so lots of scrap. I may have to try some. Does it work like thunder chert? Looks like a lot of percussion, something I really need to work on. John

very nice work on some crap material. I play around with tile and thunder chert once in awhile.  I keep on snapping it for some reason.

At the Tenn. Classic they do the Thunder Chert Challenge. I think there is a 30 minute time limit and some incredible points and blades are made.

if you look up the tennessee classic with clay hayes name on it you will see the knapping in the video.

My brother tried some tile once. It didn't look anything like that when he was done. Steps everywhere. You sure do make it look easy 1442. I might have to give some a try.

I'll look up the video and check it out

I like how you have to just go for it and get the surfaces skint. and ya only get one chance at it for the most part.
