I got the stave these bows came from in a trade with Wyatt at Marshall Primitive Meet last year. I took off the bark and sapwood. I chased a ring sealed the back and then I looked for my bow in it. I knew where I wanted it to be but wasn't sure I could pull it off.
 I decided to take a side split off my main bow. The wood didn't belong on it anyway. It worked out great and I thought I can get a kids bow out of the side split.
Then I decided to try a belly split to reduce my main bow some more. It worked great to.(doesn't always go that way) I thought I can get a ladies bow from the belly split.
The bows all turned out great and I decided they needed to stay in the family.
trilogy- for my son in law
Ms litty- for my daughter
Turkey- for my grandson
I'll probably post them separately if I get a chance, but here's a sneak peeks at the family

Slimbob bowyering is my therapy. I need a lot of therapy.
Timbo Trilogy is probably the widest bow I have ever made. It makes all my bows look small. It's a very nice shooter though and a pretty good looker I think to.
Hoosierf I like em all but I'm kinda with you. Trilogy turned out pretty nice. She was the biggest challenge of the three to. I had to get a bit creative putting her a on my caul. Had to use some wood pads to keep from damaging twig. You might notice the imprint of the pad in the back of the bow.

Nice bows. I still get surprised at how little osage it takes to make a bow.

Thanks Pat I was actually really surprised when I took the bark and sapwood off. It looked like a very clean straight stave. Wasn't expecting any warts.lol

Thanks rps3. Me to. It is amazing how little wood it actually takes to make a very nice Osage bow.
