Pocket Lint

 Pocket Lint   68"ntn, 42@28"

Built this bow under the Twin Oaks Tin for the 2019 SB Challenge during the 22nd Tennessee Classic. It was stashed under my canoe for about 6-7yrs. Cut it behind my place here in Tenn as a 10" dia pin knotty tree. Did not have a lot of wood in handle area so had to add a blank I had made of elm, hedge, elm.

The bottom limb was a bit tough to get to bend with about 7-8 pin knots running down it. Just took it slow until it did finally.

Took about three days from stave to bow. Added the tip overlays after the Challenge was complete at home. Shoots purty good.

We had a great time under the tin building from Monday night thru Thursday. Some really super bows were turned out this year. Thanks to all the Twin Oaks fella's who put in long hours on bows (Anthony, Greg B, Pat B, Gary D, Danny, Will, Pappy). Just a tremendous event and camaraderie!

With those hand picked 40-45 PO’s shafts from Wapiti that Dan did a magnificent job on , it shoots itself really. Just dead as 5 O’clock in yer hand with those 550 grn arrows.

Wish i got to shoot it with you again with the Copperhead Clint.

Left Sunday afternoon went to work finishing this skinning shed with shelves installed doors locks etc.  never ends does it?

I'm pretty sure it's more than just the arrows Shawn.  By the successful hunting you've been doing, I'm guessing your a pretty decent shot.
