Lost reflex or is it set?

Perry reflex and heat treated in reflex. You start with 2 inches, end with 1/2 inch reflex. Was the 1.5 inches just reflex that came out, or is it set? Does it depend on if it comes back? Hows that figured?

Add to that the tendency for Perry reflex bows to gain reflex in the first part of the tillering and it really gets confusing. Badger once said that if the reflex pulls out it's gone. If it's set it will regain some of it after it sits for a while.

I really do not pay much attention to glued or heated reflex while tillering(to some extend of course) For me it is important if the bow keeps it's profile while shooting. If it pops back to the tillered profile directly after unbracing I know I did a good job.

I would agree with this
