Hot day Cool smoke
« on: July 18, 2019, 06:10:24 pm »
Last batch of braintanned hides finished up today, rained yesterday so sewed up my last hides and smoked today. I used a combo of ash, Quaking aspen and cedar chips for my punk wood, I thought the color came out good. Bob

Looks great.  I'm hoping to tan some hides this winter.  Expect some PM's with questions  ;)
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Lovely,
I still have three in frames ready to scrape and one to rebrain and soften better, and a couple more still in the freezer.
You have me inspired to get off my can and work on them.
