Sorry for not getting this pic of the arrow Rob sent me. 2 feather tied down turkey feathers, small stone point hafted with pitch glue and sinew wrapped. Not sure what the shaft is but it is self nocked with sinew wrap.
Very nice arrow, Rob. Will make a great addition to my collection.   :OK
Thanks Rob and thanks for running what seems like another successful PA Arrow Trade.

Thanks Rob. Do you know the species or common name?

I’ve got my arrow finished. Had trouble getting the spine just right but managed to get a shaft 3/8” in diameter and spined correctly. This Saturday it’ll be sent out with one day as my recipient has been waiting too long already. He’s got a really long draw length but I hope he likes the arrows anyway. Tracking will be provided to show proof. I’m sorry it took me so long guys.

I found some time to work on my arrow tonight.
Shaped the nock, tacked the fletchings in place and made enough yuca cordage to wrap down the fletchings with after I trim them to size and shape.
I should be able to get it finished up in the next couple of days.

Neat!  That cordage looks like a lot of work!  Methnks everyone who is/was late shipping(including me) shall receive 50 lashes with a cold, wet noodle!- or at least have to spring for a drink when we meet in person! >:D (lol)   There are a bunch of good looking arrows in this trade!

Wish my fleching looked like that. Mine look spiky but i think spiky has its appeal. :)

thanks, the cordage turned out a little bigger than I really wanted it to.
I got the feathers and nock wrapped with sinew so I'm almost done.

Try acetone or fngernail polish remover, should work, be gentle, though.  Best way is to not get the glue on the the feathers, but it happens to the best of us sometimes! >:D (lol)

Might have to start over if they are really messed up!  Of course, none of the rest of have ever done that >:D (lol)!  I think the adage is: You can go to he** for lying, just like you can for stealing!  However a mountain man wouldn't never lie about anything! >:D.  If you need more feathers, pm me your contact info and I can send you some.  If you go goose or turkey hunting, save the wings!!
