ISO Osage orange seeds from Michigan/Ohio
« on: January 21, 2020, 06:57:20 am »
As the title says, I'm looking for osage seeds.
The goal is to grow them here in Finland.
I have previously ordered osage seeds from the states, but they were from the south = not that frost resistant, still growing tho.

The limit is not at Ohio/Michigan, other northern states are also preferred.

I have Ox horn for trade and otherstuff.

Thanks,
Mikko.

i just want to be sure that the customs agents wont have a problem with them?

Thank you! I really appreciate that  :)

The previous seeds what I have recieved have just been in a small ziplockbag in an envelope with some bubblewrap inside.

On the ziplockbag was the latin and english name of the plant. Also the amount of seeds / weigh of the seeds. I think this is important so the customs guys can get an idea what plant is being shipped and is it allowed.

I'm pretty sure there won't be any problems on Finland's end. And based on previous experiences there should be no problems sending them from the States to Finland.

You may want to check with your country's import laws regarding sending exotic species there.

I checked that you can bring osage seeds with no problems to Finland, Only condition is that it is under 20 grams if I understood right.
Then there was whole list of banned plants but osage was not one of them.
