Finally finished the celt I have been working on.
I had alot of fun doing it and earned a greater appreciation for working paleo. I'll give a brief description of the steps, in case someone is interested. 1st) felled a small tree with a quartzite hand axe. 2nd) chopped off the length I wanted. 3rd) picked a river stone to peck and grind. 4th) started the hole for the head by using an antler chisel and hammerstone. 5th) started to burn the hole out with coals 6th) coated the areas I did not want to burn through with clay. 7th) burned to the right size and grinded with tools 8th) cut handle with tools. 9th) inserted head 10th) tryed it out on a small tree. Look forward to making a paleo bow in the future.
