Knife handles
« on: February 08, 2020, 07:05:47 pm »
I forgot I found these coyote hunting in Colorado and I wish I had picked up so much more!!
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short. Amen.

I love cholla for handles and those look especially nice. Can’t wait to see what they end up on tracker.

I like collecting and using cholla for handles.  I can't tell you how much I have collected this winter and collecting more before I head back home. I cut it down an box it up so it doesn't take up so much room after all I have rock to colllect, lol

I will fix you up with some Brian at Marshall.

I’m glad your having a nice adventure Jon. I’m really looking forward to seeing at Marshall.

Deerhunter I don’t think cholla grows in Nebraska. Not sure though. It’s a cactus I believe.

Furthest north I have seen it is about Colorado Springs (Ft. Carson), but it may have moved a bit further north.  Just make sure you don't fall into one!  If you are gathering be sure the spines have fallen off!  Neat handle stuck, though.
